An inconvenient poop

Did you know that Al Gore uses more energy in his 10,000 square foot home in one month (like almost double) than the average family uses in one YEAR. And yes, his average usage has actually increased since the release of his movie.

Now we know how he really feels about the cute little polar bears who can't find any ice!

I have a great plan for my own video entitled "An inconvenient poop". At my home, with 4 dogs, we have lots of inconvenient poop.

Oh Al. Tsk.

Yes, but Al Gore does "carbon neutralize" his home . . . which means he buys enough trees or wind power or whatever to cancel out his carbon emissions.

So does that mean that as long as we are rich enough we can live however we want? Hm.m.m sounds good to me, what do you polar bears think?

Yes, I did hear more details about his nuetralization today. Yes, it is actually like he seems to think he is justified to waste as much energy as he would like since he is financially supporting a new solar energy plant in Africa or something. Not to minimize what he is spending to keep himself neutral, because it must be an enormous amount of money. But he could do double to good by just living an average life. It is hard for me to justify giving him the Nobel Prize for this obvious inconsistency.

For the Nachos among us, "It is political, obviously."

All right. As long as we're willing to hold our Joel Osteens and Bruce Wilkinsons to just as high a standard as our Al Gores, I can get behind it. Rich people are rich, and they like to live like they're rich. I don't think a call for poverty is the worst thing that could happen to this country.

i try my hardest everyday to stay carbon neutral. a certain someone in our household feels the need to emit cetrain gases into the air and i try and neutralize it with "oust". so far it's worked but the long term studies haven't been released.

i agree with debbie, there are prominent "Christians" who love the rich lifestyle. they busy themselves flying to different speaking engagements, book realeases, etc... they forget their responsibility and role as caretakers of God's creation. somewhere along the line Christians have limited "stewardship" to only mean how we manage our money for God.

here's the problem as i see it. the average person, beyond using low watt lightbulbs and such, are somewhat helpless to make the major impact needed.

my father has a simple answer to the main cause of this so called "global warming", each person emits heat and with the rise in population global warming was inevitable.

have you ever thought that since the last ice age, maybe the earth is just warming back up to it's created state? have you though about what would happen if the jet streams shifted so far off it's course from where they are now that places like Africa began getting the cooler and wetter climates and America became hot and dry? Remember, the book of Revelation makes not mention of a power from the west. maybe this is all a part of the end times.
